Cookie policy
What we store in this browser. What is a cookie. What is not.
Last updated 23 August 2026
Short version
Sign-in uses a session cookie so we know it is you. Guest jobs use local storage on this machine — that is not an advertising cookie. We do not run Google Ads, a remarketing pixel, or a third-party analytics cookie on this site.
Session cookie
When you log in we set a first-party session cookie. It holds a session id, not your password. It lasts for the session (and a sliding window so you are not kicked out mid-bid). Clearing cookies signs you out. The product still opens as a guest.
Local storage (not a cookie)
Guest jobs, shop-book edits, named revisions, and UI prefs (split panes, last tab) live in this browser’s local storage. That data does not go to us unless we have shipped cloud jobs and you are signed in — cloud backup is not in the product yet. Clearing site data deletes those jobs. Export Excel and JSON first.
What we do not use
- No advertising cookies.
- No social-media tracking.
- No ads that follow you to other sites.
- No third-party analytics cookie listed here, because we have not turned one on.
How to control
Every current browser lets you block cookies, clear site data, or use a private window. Blocking the session cookie means you cannot stay logged in. Blocking local storage means a guest job will not survive a refresh. That is expected.
Processors
If we add a payment provider or transactional email, that provider may set its own cookie on a checkout or message page. We will name it here when it exists. It does not exist on the guest takeoff today.
Changes
If we add a cookie that is not strictly needed to run the product, this page will say so and the date will move. See also Privacy.
